The Choir visited The City Hall, Salisbury

16th April 2005

They presented a combined concert with the Band of the Regiment of Gurkhas.  The event was promoted by The Foresters, and the proceeds were donated to Riding for the Disabled and to the Gurkha Regiment Benevolent Fund.

A nearly full City Hall were delighted by good Choral performances and the high quality musicianship of the Gurkha band members.  Four items were presented by the combined forces of the Swindon Male Voice Choir and the Band to the pleasure of the audience.

The City Hall proves to be one of the finest Concert venues the Choir visits with good management, a smart concert hall, fine acoustics, and an enthusiastic Salisbury audience.  We look forward to invitations to return!
