This fund raising event was in aid of the ‘Turning Point Trust’ a Christian Charity working in the slums of Kiberia, Nairobi. The trust is a charity supported by St. Paul’s Church and SMVC baritone Tony Gasson and his wife Jean, members of St Paul’s Church and organisers of this concert.

Special Guests, ladies choir ‘A Splash of Red’ directed by Claire Lee, sing their opening song ‘I know Him So Well’.

More new blood in the choir! Young Bass, Owain Goodall at his first concert is presented with SMVC cufflinks by MD Max Brockman-More. His smile never faded all evening!

Not so young blood, but just as enthusiastic, new member Richard Hopkins is presented with his SMVC cufflinks.

Max brings the two choirs together for an inspirational and moving arrangement of Eric Clapton’s ‘Tears in Heaven’. A beautiful moment for the choirs to savour.
