Choir travel to Caernarfon for a concert with

Caernarfon Male Voice Choir

It was in March 2008 that friends from Caernarfon travelled to Swindon to presented a wonderful concert at Christ Church .  This date sees the opportunity for Swindon Male Voice Choir to travel to Caernarfon and meet again with the men from North Wales in Concert.

Summer Ball – Saturday 25th July 2009

No anniversary year for an organisation such as Swindon Male Voice Choir is complete without an exciting and entertaining Summer Ball, and this is being developed for Mid Summer 2009.

October 2009
Saturday 3rd October 2009 will see 90th Anniversary Celebrations in music and singing at the Wyvern Theatre

Saturday 31st October 2009 a major concert of Brass and Voices is being staged at The Royal Albert Hall, London . 

This is major event seeking to raise £1000,000 for Cancer Research UK .  A Tri-annual event supported by the Choir for the first time in 2006, joining with 1200 other singers and combined brass bands in a wonderful tribute to the work of Cancer Research UK .  The experience is being repeated in 2009 and tickets details are available via the Swindon Male Voice Choir contacts.

Whilst we relish the big events we delight in visiting local smaller venues, supporting local groups and organisations to help their constant battle to fund their charities and causes. 

While big events are fabulous, some of our finest choral moments and memories over 90 years have been created in village churches and halls where the magic of the venue, with the intimacy created by a friendly audience are truly magical.  With these magical moments the woes of the world seem to disappear – if but for a short while.

Singing is one of the finest relaxation and de-stressing therapies we have found.  We recommend it to all our readers.
