On behalf of Swindon’s Armed Forces Day organisers —comprising volunteers from SBC staff, veterans, and community members—I would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the members of Swindon Male Voice Choir for your invaluable contribution to this year’s Swindon Armed Forces Day 2025 at Lydiard Park.
Your support played a vital role in making the day a resounding success with what was reported to be over 7,000 attendees, helping create a memorable and meaningful event that honoured the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, past and present.
This year’s celebration was particularly poignant as we commemorated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II (VE Day).
Thank you so much once again for being part of this important occasion.
