This concert was first scheduled for two years ago. It was our first concert of the year and MD, Max Brockman-More's last SMVC concert in Swindon. So there was extra pressure on SMVC choristers to perform at their best. The audience were entertained by a mix of band, drum and choir music. Money raised was in aid of SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity.

Our guests entertained the audience with a wide selection of traditional and popular music.
Three choristers were making their debut in this concert. Clive Sparling, Tim Whiting and George O’Neill. SMVC President, Shirley Ludford presented them with choir cufflinks to mark the occasion.
